The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements:

“The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We” and “Us”, refers to our organisation, Quality Garden Buildings UK.

“Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the user and ourselves, or either the user or ourselves.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the user in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the user’s needs in respect of provision of the company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law.

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

DISCLAIMERS

 

Quality Garden Buildings UK is a sales-only company, we work with trusted partners to manufacture, deliver and install the buildings we advertise. Any concerns that arise from the manufacturing, delivery or installation of a garden building are the responsibility of our manufacturer, however, if any issues do arise please contact Quality Garden Buildings UK and we will do our best to resolve any issues.

 

The buildings we advertise do not come with rear trims unless stated otherwise, this gives you the option to add guttering if you wish. We do strongly suggest adding guttering to the back of the pent or the sides of an apex building. The buildings are fully pressure treated however since wood is a natural material there is the possibility that if the guttering is not added water can splash up from the base and soak into the lower panels of the building. We also strongly suggest coating your building with Thompson’s water seal or painting it as this is a cheap and effective way to ensure your building is watertight. We also suggest adding silicone to the building on the inside from the floor to the walls to further protect your building. We do not supply bases. If your base is not solid and level this can result in issues with your building down the line, we are not liable for any issues that arise from issues with your base.

On completion of your building, you will be given a customer satisfaction form to sign. You may also be sent a copy to sign via email. This form confirms you have thoroughly examined your new building both inside and out and are totally happy with the building and finish. If there are any issues you do find, please make the fitting team aware before you sign and before they leave. This way they can amend any issues on the day rather than returning at a later date. If the fitters do have to return at a later date due to issues that they weren't made aware of initially this will have to be at a date convenient to both parties. 

 

DEPOSITS & REFUNDS

 

All deposits taken are for the purpose of securing your order therefore deposits are non-refundable once paid. If for any reason you are unable to take delivery for your building on the agreed date we will be more than happy to postpone your delivery and installation for up to 12-months keeping your deposit secure. If you do still wish to cancel your order completely, you are liable to lose your deposit.

PAYMENT & FEES​

 

Deposit payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, credit or debit card freely. We typically take a 20% deposit of your total quote to secure your building and confirm your order. This is non-refundable. The remaining balance is to be paid on completion on the day of installation. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or via online bank transfer with no added fees. If you do proceed to make your final payment of the remaining balance via credit or debit card, there will be a 1-3% fee added to cover the processing fees of our payment processor.

User records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any unauthorised third party, unless if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities.

Users are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services.

Where appropriate, we shall issue users with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties.

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information stored on this website to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.

No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.
