Our Apex Summerhouses provide a more traditional style of garden building to the modern 21st century. These beautiful buildings are a great addition to any garden and can provide the perfect place to relax year-round. 'Apex' refers to the pointed roof style that allows water to drain off the sides of the building during rain. These buildings can also be built with the apex reversed meaning the roof slopes down to the front and to the back rather than the sides. 

 

As with all of our Quality Garden Buildings our Pent Summerhouses are built using only the best quality materials. We use 22mm thick log effect, tongue and groove cladding for the walls, heavy-duty 25mm thick timber boarding for the floors, heavy-duty polyester felt on the roof and toughened safety glass as standard. (only our full-length glass panes are toughened, shorter glass is not). As with all of our buildings, our Apex Summerhouses come with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee as standard. Our buildings come with heavy-duty floors included as standard as well as runners that sit underneath the building to lift it off the ground 3-4 inches. This allows for airflow underneath the building and prevents rot.

As standard, all buildings up to 15ft wide come with Double doors and 2 x long windows. All buildings 16ft or wider come with double doors and 4 x long windows included. Shorter-length windows are available on request.

Height 

Our regular-height buildings come with internal measurements of 7ft at the apex and 6ft at the eves allowing plenty of headspace. If you do wish we can increase this to an 'extra height' building making it 7.5ft at the apex internally and 6.5ft at the eves for an additional cost. All of our buildings fall under the 2.5m regulation meaning planning permission is not required.

Our garden buildings are made using the highest quality materials and if looked after correctly can easily last 20+ years. These buildings are perfect to transform into a year-round garden room with insulation, electrics and plumbing if needed. This isn't a service we offer ourselves however many of our customers do make these alterations afterwards.
